The right setting matters.
A calm, considered setting helps your candle burn safely and beautifully.
- On a level, heat-resistant surface.
- Away from drafts, curtains and flammable materials.
- Away from children and pets.
- Away from fans, open windows and air-conditioning vents.
When there's only a little wax left, it's time to let go.

Wooden wick FAQ
Small questions.
Simple answers.
Why is my wooden wick crackling?
A gentle crackling sound is a natural characteristic of wooden wicks — part of their quiet, atmospheric charm.
Why does my flame look small?
Wooden wicks can behave differently from cotton wicks. Make sure the candle is free from debris and the wick is properly trimmed before lighting.
Why is my candle tunnelling?
Tunnelling can happen when the candle does not develop a sufficiently wide melt pool, particularly during early burns. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface.
When your candle is finished
Don't throw the vessel away.
Once finished, your vessel can become something useful and beautiful. Give it a second life with a simple, careful reset.
